My First World

Hello all!

I've just created a world using Yee teng's laptop because it seems that out of 6 I've tried, hers is the only one that is able to read the disk.I actually wanted to be more adventurous at the start, thinking to start off by hatching eggs instead of getting the baby norms. However, I gave up after trying thrice as I have no idea how to hatch them and control their number. Thus two baby norms were created through the easy way.

From what Ive heard, the norms would start off quite dumb and useless-like babies. But I think mine are children already, being able to express their thoughts like 'I'm tired' and stuff like that. Both of the norms quarrel quite often with each other and so I decided to separate them and take turn to play with both characters. It was quite a challenge having to get used to the control system, not to mention I didnt have a mouse to work with..but everything got better in the end. I made sure that they got enough food and tried my best to entertain them with toys such as balls, spaceships and other interesting objects. Besides that, I would tickle them for fun and spank them when they start a quarrel.

After that, I decided to explore deeper into the game, trying to go to different worlds and places which had different creatures. But the problem is, I have no idea how to lock the gates to prevent other creatures from entering my world.Theres this tool that has a broken line linked to it but Im unsure of where to place it to lock the doors. To make matters worse, my norms started dissapearing..like 'poof', a curtain of smoke appears and my norm is gone. I tried searching for it through the maps but had no result. Did they die? But They werent even attacked by other creatures. How frustrating. Was 2 hours of my time playing the game wasted? Sigh.:( I better consult the teacher for more information.
